According to Chapter 23, what is the nature of the soul, why do people suffer, and what is the path to overcoming this suffering?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra teaches that the soul's true nature is Existence-Consciousness-Bliss (Sacchidananda). However, it becomes deluded by Maya and forgets its real self, identifying instead with the body. This leads to pride and the false belief of being the 'doer' and 'enjoyer,' which in turn causes a succession of calamities and distress. According to this chapter, the only way to calm these troubles and escape this cycle of suffering is through loving devotion, or Bhakti Yoga, at the feet of the Guru.
