According to Chapter 19, what is the relationship between the Soul and the body, and why does it cause the cycle of worldly existence?

📖 Chapter 19

Chapter 19 explains that the union of the Soul (Atma) and the body is a supreme and extraordinary exception to the rule that friendship typically exists between those of similar nature. The Soul is described as changeless and imperishable, while the body is perishable and transient. Despite these opposing natures, their affection for each other is so immense that one cannot bear to be without the other. It is precisely because of this profound love and connection, as detailed in Chapter 19, that the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, continues, binding the eternal Soul to the impermanent physical form.
