According to Chapter 19, how can the Soul and body, which are so different, be so deeply connected?

📖 Chapter 19

Chapter 19 delves into the unique and paradoxical relationship between the Soul (Atma) and the body. It explains that while they are fundamentally different in nature—the body being perishable and the Soul being changeless and imperishable—their affection for each other is extraordinary. This profound union is described as a supreme, unavoidable exception to the rule that 'friendship exists between those of similar nature.' In fact, Chapter 19 states that it is because of this immense love that the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, continues, as one cannot bear to be without the other.
