According to Chapter 17, what are the two paths a person can follow, and what do they represent?

📖 Chapter 17

Chapter 17 of the Sai Satcharitra explains the two distinct paths of Shreya and Preya. Shreya is described as the Good Path of Salvation, representing pure Knowledge (Vidya) and wisdom. In contrast, Preya is the Pleasant Path of Worldly Joy, which embodies ignorance (Avidya). The chapter states that just as light and darkness are opposite, so too are these two paths. He whose mind runs toward Preya falls away from his true self-interest, while Shreya is the form of discrimination that the wise pursue.
