According to Chapter 16, what is the nature of the Sadguru's relationship with his disciples and their offerings?

📖 Chapter 16

Chapter 16 of the Sai Satcharitra explains that a Sadguru is inherently one whose desires are fulfilled (Aptakama). The Guru's true purpose is to fulfill the disciple's desire for service, ultimately making the disciple desireless. He accepts offerings like a leaf or flower with great love when given with faith, but will turn away from anything offered with pride. Even though the Guru is an ocean of Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss, He enjoys rituals performed with sincere faith and satisfaction, using these moments to impart knowledge. As the text notes, the Guru is the most generous giver, even bestowing the 'Unthinkable Object,' Brahman, upon His devotee.
