According to Chapter 10, what is the significance of the Guru and what benefits do devotees receive by placing faith in Him?

📖 Chapter 10

Chapter 10 describes the Guru as the one eternal God who can alter a devotee's fate, poetically stating He "strikes a nail over the lines of destiny." By placing faith in the Sadguru, a devotee can overcome the three types of miseries—physical, mental, and divine—as He acts as the boatman to cross the ocean of existence. The text further explains that the Guru's sight can break the knots of the heart, eliminate attachment to sense objects, and destroy both accumulated (Sanchit) and current (Kriyaman) karmas. Ultimately, as mentioned in Chapter 10, the Sadguru grants the attainment of liberation (Moksha) effortlessly to those with sincere devotion.
