According to Baba's teachings, what are the virtues and benefits of practicing patience?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 19

Chapter 19 describes patience, or Saburi, as a cornerstone of a virtuous life. Baba teaches that patience is the 'manliness of men' and a 'mine of virtues.' Its benefits are extensive, as it is said to ward off sin, distress, and poverty. Furthermore, patience 'averts calamities through various means and pushes away fear and dread.' Baba emphasizes its power by stating it brings success and can make calamity flee. He considers a person without patience to be in a pitiable state, concluding that even for a scholar, life is in vain without it.
